The incidence of strabismus (crossed eyes) is more prevalent in the populations that we serve. Children are very apprehensive during their first examination and having Barbie dolls to give her, brings a smile for she and her parents.
We have pediatric ophthalmologists who will evaluate her and perform the repair. Without this surgery, these children suffer ridicule, and often are ostracized from their friends.
